About ICPHA

The Independent Contest & Pleasure Horse Association is a non-profit organization which has conducted multiple Contest and Pleasure Shows in Central Ohio for the past 33 years. We offer a large variety of Contest and Pleasure Class competitions for all ages, horse breeds, members, and non-members, offering 70% to 80% payback with 1^st thru 4^th placing on all classes. These paybacks, low entry fees, and our central show locations make us an affordable alternative to large breed shows giving people of all walks of life the ability to grow and learn with their equine.

ICPHA Shows and Events are organized and run on strictly volunteer hours and all proceeds go to show operational expenses and year end awards. Our Volunteers keep our shows affordable and fun!

The Purpose for which ICPHA was formed is:

To organize and conduct affordable open horse shows and exhibitions for the general public.

To create and stimulate interest in show horses and horse shows.

To promote the interest in horse and pony care, breeding, and showing.

To further the art of riding and encourage horse "mastership", and the welfare of horses and ponies.

To take action in the defense of horses and ponies permitted by law, which may be approved by the members of ICPHA.
